We are voyeurs - we watch the woman looking into the mirror, aware of her beauty and sexuality as she contemplates her intricate tattoo of the sacred heart mimicking the pointing gesture Jesus. We see her reflection of the sacred heart burning in the depths of her bosom that offers benevolence, love and purity of spirit, then sanctuary and comfort in death. The Neon Crosses are beacons that beckon our earthly souls into the unknown depths of the universe (a neon image we first encountered driving through Utah towards Salt Lake City, USA).
