Brian Eno 'My Light Years': Ospedale Vecchio, Parma, Italy

Brian Eno’s lightboxes, sound sculptures, and etchings are included in 'My Light Years' at Ospedale Vecchio, Parma.

The imposing spaces of the Crociera dell'Ospedale Vecchio host the most comprehensive collection ever assembled of Brian Eno's installations and audiovisual works, exhibited together in a single location, a vast and monumental architectural complex finally restored to its public and collective vocation.  Works include Eno’s seminal audio visual installation ’77 Million Paintings’, and ‘Face to Face', as well as a new group of five Lightboxes created exclusively for this exhibition, and ’Turntable II’.  Also included are a group of works fabricated by Eno while in Parma, that look back to his original experiments with light and sculpture.

The exhibition includes 'Seed' a site-specific audio installation in a nearby garden created by Brian Eno and Turkish journalist and writer Ece Temelkuran. Once the show ends, the work will be included in the Casa del Suono.
