National Institution Museum of Contemporary Art Skopje hosts ‘Damien Hirst: New Religion’, an exhibition of silkscreen prints and sculptural editions in association with Paul Stolper Gallery and The British Council. This exhibition explores the complex relationships between medicine and faith, and art and religion; themes central to Hirst's work. The exhibition follows displays of ‘New Religion’ at Paul Stolper Gallery (2005), Rogaland Museum of Fine Arts, Oslo (2006), All Hallow’s Church, London (2007), The National Art Gallery of Bulgaria, Sofia (2012) and The Lightbox, Woking (2015).

‘‘I was thinking that there are four important things in life: religion, love, art and science…Of them all, science seems to be the one right now. Like religion, it provides the glimmer of hope that maybe it will be all right in the end.’’
