Perasma is an arts and culture platform founded in Istanbul in 2021 by Burcu Fikretoglu & Gizem Naz Kudunoglu. It is a platform dedicated to fostering dialogue and connection through contemporary art, community, and culture. Through site-specific exhibitions in unconventional locations, Perasma fosters conversations that connect art to its surroundings and encourage participation from diverse communities. Perasma seeks to be unbounded by a physical space or gallery walls and to exist across and beyond Istanbul.

The Leros Project, initiated in 2023, exemplifies this ethos, serving as a platform for experimentation, dialogue, and collective exploration. By focusing on the island of Leros, its layered history, and contemporary challenges, the project brings together artists, researchers, and locals to reflect on time, memory, and identity.
